Kerimcan Goren is a London based artist working through interdisciplinary practices. He maintains an interest toward receptive surfaces, abstraction, aftermath, while further exploring concerns with ontology. His latest work Waves of Fear (2017), amalgamates second-hand fashion imagery from his hometown with concrete plinths. Developed in response to the recent closure of Kodak’s paper factory, the work seeks to commemorate a moment in history, acknowledging a sense of loss that has come from accelerating technological shifts.
